I hope you have been enjoying a beautiful summer and are looking forward to returning to singing in a few weeks. I have a few important announcements to share:
1. **New Rehearsal Location**: We are excited to announce that we will be using McKenzie United Church as our rehearsal space this year. Rehearsals will still take place on Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Please note that only the location has changed.
2. **Rehearsal Start Date**: Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Registration will take place from 6:30 to 7:00 PM. If you could fill out the pre-registration form by Tuesday, September 1st (https://forms.gle/PcWoQ4i7u3emBddv5), I will do my best to ensure that a package of music is ready for you. You are also welcome to register that evening, but I cannot guarantee enough music for those who do not fill out the form in advance.
3. **Winter Concert Date**: Our winter concert will be Tuesday, December 8th at 7:30pm. Location TBD. The dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday, December 1st.
4. **Additional Performances**: We are booked in at Douglas Campbell Lodge on Wednesday, December 9th (no WSO this year), and I am hoping to book us in at Lions Prairie Manor on Wednesday, December 2nd. These locations will not accommodate everyone, but I do hope to have a balanced ensemble so we can perform some of our concert repertoire as well as carols. Sign-ups will be emailed out in November.
